Naming emotions

The students of the first and fifth grade of our school completed an activity called “Teach Emotions”.

First grade children adapted the activity to their age, so we focused on pantomime, on colour and on the impact of our emotions on the body, painting the parts of our body that are affected.

The students of the fifth grade started by naming and discussing their emotions and then they were asked to choose one of them. They were given a worksheet where they noted at what times they feel this emotion and what they do about it. In the end, they made some very beautiful and insightful drawings about the parts of their bodies that are affected.
